Kathryn I just love this,a likey for me.
Kathryn: Thank you very kindly, Tracy. Honored.
Kathryn this is wonderful. Into the likeys
Kathryn: Thank you, Bill. I've another I may post tomorrow.
I thought you got yourself cornered, after looking at your yesterday's post. Please forgive me, I was wrong.
Z
Kathryn: cornered in by the lack of light
freedom dawns at dusk cornered in by the lack of light
serious wow! closely followed by holy Shi@.
Straight to the likeys.
Kathryn: Gail, I've never gotten a holy Shi@ before, but I think I really like it!
Wow ! this is really awesome ! The golden glow looks terrific.
Kathryn: Thank you, Aussie. I think we should send the sun a thank you for blessing us with those golden rays at dusk every now and then, don't you?
This is absolutely stunning. It this were my photo I would print it and hang it on my wall!
Kathryn: Thanks you so much, Helen. I rarely print, Do you? Maybe I should.
I immediately thought this was a close-up of Astrid's moon bursting through the trees the other day, Kathryn. It's not, of course, but it makes quite a pair, if you don't mind my saying so.
I especially like the reflected glow on those top reeds and the fact that there is no border! It's lovely how this floats on the page.
Kathryn: Thanks, Ginnie.
I have a few more with the tops more prominent, which I may post in the next few days.
whispered a quiet 'omg' when the pic loaded. love the shot, Kathryn.
Kathryn: Terry, truth be told I whispered a quiet omg as I watched it unfold and then slip away.
Oh Kathryn, this is absolutely magnificent. I am speachless
Kathryn: Isn't it amazing the things we are given? I am speechless so often as I look around this beautiful world of ours.
This is beautiful Kathryn. It is like a pool of molten gold. I love the way the grasses are touched with gold against the dark background. Well done.
Ingrid
Kathryn: Thanks so much, Ingrid. I was a little worried that shooting directly into that ball of fire would result in blown out photographs. A few were, but a few blessed me with that pool of molten gold.
Ten times BRAVO Kathryn to this one, that reed is fabulous, without words this time
Kathryn: Ten times thanks, Astrid. I've been to that place many times and taken quite a few photos of those reeds. This time i caught the sun as she spread her golden rays over the earth before slipping off to sleep.
Wonderful effect from the reeds tinged with light. I particulary like those that are seperated from the pool of reflected light. Did you take any from a slightly lower point of view?
Kathryn:
Uh-huh.... that does it for me! Very cool, cheers, H.
Kathryn: Uh-huh, I am very happy to have provided a photograph that does it for you!
Wow Kathryn, this is some picture...mesmerising...Like your imagination
Hack...hack hack....hack!
Choked on my tongue! Halos on the floating reed heads are wonderful. So is the golden pond through the reed bed.
Kathryn: Ray, are you ok? Should I call the paramedics, although at this point, it may be too late
Thank you so much for your lovely compliment.
Splendid work Kathryn
Kathryn: Very wet and very windy here too, Chris!
Thanks so much for your comment and for taking the time to look!
Exceedingly good ...it would make a fabulous illustration for a book on the countryside. richard.
Kathryn: Thanks, R. Your quite generous today. Have you been sipping the red wine?
I hope that one day i can take images like this. Beautiful
Kathryn: Mich, I am not sure what to say because most days I hope I can take pictures like most of the other Shutterchancers here. Lots of talent on this website.
Thank you for your very kind compliment and for looking. Come back and have another look sometime.
Very beautiful photo !!! Golden light contrats very well with the black of nature ... I love it !!! Ann
Kathryn: Thanks, Ann! That golden light was so lovely. I am gratiful for it because I needed it to restore my energy.
Did you use a telescope?
I like it's abstractness, quite original i think.
Kathryn: The Hubble
Thanks, Nig.
What a gorgeous shot, Kathryn. The light on the grass heads is really wonderful.
Kathryn: Mary, thank you so much. In the next few days, I have another that I will post.
