A Certain Slant of Light
I belong to a certain slant of light, rhythmic like the hips of a belly dancer, visually palpable under sheer filmy fabric. I belong to a certain slant of light, thumbing through its shards, mile upon mile, along the splinters of highway. I belong to a certain slant of light, found in darkness, fluid and turbulent, trapped among the tangled spaces.
