Echoed Reflections

Disturbing image...hidden forces are warping the fabric...distorting the view like a hand behind the screen...
Kathryn: ...a wrinkle in time and space?
Almost ghostlike, Kathryn. Whispering leaves, telling stories. I can almost hear it.
Kathryn: Thank you for your comment, Ginnie and for looking. Yes, ghostlike...
...in the garden of autumn
trees whisper their stories to the mirror of pond... Z
Kathryn: In the garden of summer
a tree whispers his story to the mirrored reflection of his soul
It's interesting that the 'blurring' isn't consistant over the whole image. mmmmmmmmm ....richard
Kathryn: I think the blurring was caused by parts of the water that the wind took hold of...Thanks for visiting and your comment, R.
Fascinating shot Kathryn, thought when I first looked at it my be I had one to many last night!!!
Great capture.
Kathryn: At this point, Tracy, I think I could use a good drink! Pass me one? Thanks for stopping in and for your comment.
Intriguing photograph with a real `dreamlike` quality. (:o)
Kathryn: "To sleep, perchance to dream." Thanks for your comment and glad it intrigued you.
I can see you have really been bitten by the moving still image bug. This is infused with a Gothic sense of the macabre despite (or because of) its innocence. Perhaps its the "mirror" at work - a sense of being pulled into a different reality. Excelent image Kathryn.
Kathryn: Thank you very kindly, Mike. Yes, and I am still toying with them. I have a few more I am posting in the next few days. As I have said before, your picture inspired me.
Very pleasing Kathryn: a nice feel of wind in the air moving the leaves
Kathryn: Thank you, Chris. Glad you enjoy it...I do love the the sound of rustling leaves and the feel of the wind.
Kind of a twilight zone feel to it. A distortion of space and time.
Kathryn: I agree, Gail..warping..
Very intriguing shot Kathryn. I like the distortions
Kathryn: Glad you like it, Richard. I think it takes a special person to like distortions.
This is a lovely image - you almost feel as though you could be sucked into it. I could look at it for ages and not tire of it.
Ingrid
Kathryn: Ingrid, thank you so much for your lovely comment.
My frist reaction to this was Hitchcock's "The Birds". There is something threatening about this image. I might have to sleep with the light on tonight.
Kathryn, this reminds me of Hitchcock, wow nice capture, the birds just took off!! love the B&W and the water did their job well to complete this beautiful picture!
Oooh, like this one Kathryn
Great movement!
A very nice retro feel to this. Liked it!
A Hitchcockian image.
