On this somewhat dark screen there is only the faintest hint of structure visible, but not enough to get an idea what I am looking at. I'll take another look when I get home. I am intrigued.
Kathryn: I wonder if it was any lighter when you looked from home. Probably not.
This photo is a little dark for me! Not sure what I am looking at!

If I were a child
I would leave the street I would leave all dark and grey I would fly away far far away away into my garden with the sprouting green, greengreengreengreen and I'm resting there in the midst of all the green and over me a little bee and the blueblue sky, oh my!

Away from the dark and grey Away from all dark and grey . I would fly away We’d fly away . far far away away not so very far away . into my garden into your garden . with the sprouting green, with the sprouting green and more green . greengreengreengreen greengreengreengreen and more green . and I'm resting there and we’re resting there . in the midst of all the green in the midst of all the green and more green . and over me and over us . a little bee and a little bird . and the blueblue sky, singing in the blueblue sky . oh my! yes oh my!

I would imagine wild But would see true Not just imagining you Now that I am older Acting onstage for a beholder I'm missing my child Who could imagine so wild
Kathryn: Oh if I were a child

On a different slant:
Will there be light at the end of this road? No that is totally wrong. There will be light at the end of this road.
Kathryn: On a different slant:
On the same incline: . Will there be light at the end of this road? Will there be darkness at the beginning of this road? . No that is totally wrong. Yes that is totally right. . There will be light at the end of this road. There will be darkness at the beginning of this road. .

This morning I looked at your blog on my work monitor and it was just one black square. This evening at home I had to take another look and voila I see the broken line on a road. I now understand why you are doing the knit one, slip one rhyming at which you are very good
When going on holiday we always travel quite some distances by road. I remember how as a child while everyone but dad were sleeping, I could sit for long times just watching the broken line slipping by. On, off, on, off. I guess as long as I saw the line flickering by, it was also a sign of everything still on a good line.
Kathryn: Louis,
I knew there was more than one person who needed to calibrate their monitor. I did the same as a child and even now as an adult. You are right, it is an assurance that all is well as long as the line keeps flickering by. I love it that you, at times, have been poetic on my blog and I am happy to have been the one to have inspired your poetic musings. I've always loved to write and since joining SC have written more than ever. I am also tickled pink because I am taking a drawing/painting class now. Nice how we encourage each other's creativity. --Kathryn
