i love its dizzying effect. is there such a word?
I really like this one Kathryn you have captured the scene perfectly with the movement in the shot.
Oh wow! That is so cool! Brilliantly taken! H.
I think this works as is, but think it might be stronger with the foreground a little sharper to enhance the rest vs. motion contrast.
Kathryn: Martin, I hand held the camera hence the blur, but I like the softness of the people in the foreground given their stance, watching their child, for me it gives them a gentleness. I went back once with my tripod, but the rain was so bad... Hopefully this weekend again. So let's see what happens then
btw..thanks for the email re: noise reduction. After looking at the difference in CS2 and Neat Image, you are absolutely right. CS2 does a poor job.
This is a cool shot Kathryn.
This is a great capture, I think the B&W works very well here, I do agree with Martin a little bit, but who am I to say that, I know how hard it is to get this anyway, have a nice weekend Kathryn
Kathryn: Fair enough, Astrid. Let's see if I can make it a little more crisp in the foreground next time and see what that looks like. Thank you for your honest opinion.
Have a nice weekend yourself. Did you have a nice time with Ginnie?
Very good Kathry: a nice swirly feel to it
You have just given me bit of nostalgia from my two years in Hannover, Kathryn. I totally feel this shot! From my point of view, you don't need to do a thing to this! I might be tempted to crop off the partial person on the right but even that is immaterial.
I like very much the result !
I feel dizzy now Kathryn!
Very nice capture Kathryn. I like the rotating movement
I have vertigo - and that's the idea!
Well you know what I will say ;o) But I will also say the ideas are very strong - the rest will come with time. You are in the business of reminding people to look at the world and think, and your recent images are doing a pretty good job. In other words you have the hard part under control, just the final polish ;o)
The slow shutter really captures the mood and the movement. Remarkable!
serious movement here. Very nice.
I like the movement and the lines in this one
My evil imagination sees the next shot as a small child staggering off this roundabout after hurtling round at 300 miles an hour! I would like to see this in colour Kathryn
One nod isn't enough for this K' richard.
I like much the composition... but if you allow me to be critical, I she would like that the lights had remained focused and the movement was only for atracci´´on where they are the children. In any case it is a very pleasant photo!
Kathryn: Jose, thank you so much for your critique. I did not have a tripod with me and those uncrisp lights are an effect of the shutterspeed and no tripod. I will take my tripod next time!
