nice words
in the midst of a southern storm nice words drip and then hang like raindrops trapped in a spider's web

In the midst of deep sorrow
nice words grow like a bloom & warm the hearts of the sad. Beautiful words Kathryn. Stunning image. :o) John
Kathryn: in the midst of a deep joy
nice words dawn like a morning glory thank you kindly, John and apologies for the late response
A delighful retrousee nose! One of the family?
Kathryn: Nope, Ian, just someone who looked as though they were dripping nice words all over.
A face worth seeing in all its' glory
Kathryn: thanks, Bill. I don't know who she is, but I would have to agree.
Fine capture Kathryn
Kathryn: Thanks, Chris. Those are some nice words.
Beautiful and original portrait Kathryn.
Kathryn: I am an original Kathryn, Richard.
This must be a vivacious, self-confident, engaged girl/young woman who is able to fight for herself and an important matter - I like this behaviour!
Kathryn: Oh Philine, perhaps she has been charmed by a smooth talking ladies' gentleman with an accent and is dripping nice words all over the place.
Nice image! I like the focus on the mouth with enough around it to let us appreciate the person. Cleverly framed, Kathryn!
Kathryn: Danke sehr, Martin.
love your framing Kathryn as for the words well who knows but thats what makes it interesting
Kathryn: Nice words, depending on who is uttering them to whom, can be very interesting, Tim.
Great portrait - I like the framing and the stray bits of hair and their shadows.
Ingrid
Kathryn: Nice to know, Ingrid. It was a windy day and so so sunny, when I took this. Uncharacteristic of Germany
I love this...
Kathryn: Nice to know, Stephen, but I wonder what it is about it you love.
Nice words are always in danger
to evaporate without a trace If they stay in the spider web for too long. They have to be heard, When they’re fresh.
Kathryn: Nice words are also in danger, sweetie
of becoming old and stale, lovely when they drip like honey, precious from the mouths of real southern gentlemen, darling in the most feigned of ways, my dear
Cool picture I say. First share a grin I had - as I read about the southern storm and the nice words, I wondered what is coming from the mouth in the picture - the storm or the nice words
A song from the BeeGees with some nice words in the lyrics. Words Smile an everlasting smile A smile could bring you near to me Don't ever let me find you gone 'Cause that would bring a tear to me This world has lost it's glory Let's start a brand new story Now my love right now there'll be No other time and I can show you How my love Talk in everlasting words And dedicate them all to me And I will give you all my life I'm here if you should call to me You think that I don't even mean A single word I say It's only words, and words are all I have to take your heart away You think that I don't even mean A single word I say It's only words, and words are all I have to take your heart away It's only words, and words are all I have to take your heart away
Kathryn: Louis, in regards to my poem..
I was reflecting on how when people are in an emotional storm, feeling strongly, but able to articulate it (just balanced there on a tightrope), the nice words are there, but the nice words get stuck and hang. As VZ pointed out, they need to be heard while they are fresh or they risk evaporating. I wonder if VZ takes his own advise. So many of us dare to take risks, I know there are times when I want to say so much more, but for some reason, imagined or real, simply can't so my nice words stick and hang.
This is fantastic. Well done.
Kathryn: Thanks, Gail. No lack of nice words from you on this one.
Same as anniedog, the framing is very good
Kathryn: I was born to crop, Nig
